Picea pungens ‘Glauca Pendula’

Weeping Blue Spruce

Category:

Description

Picea pungens ‘Glauca Pendula’ is a vigorous, irregular weeping or creeping selection of Colorado spruce with bright silvery-Blue colored, sickle shaped needles, especially in early spring and summer. A specimen will grow only as tall is it’s final staked height. From that point, the terminals will “knuckle over,” sprawling in all directions. One of the keys to identifying this plant is the tendency for terminal branches to turn obliquely upward.
