The drawing, executed in charcoal on laid watermarked paper, depicts a fine portrait of a man with a basket (possibly a study for a marketscene).

Authorship : the drawing is from the Dutch-Dordrecht school.

Size of the drawing : 27,4×19,9cm.

Condition : good. Leftcorners : traces of folding. Some scattered dirt throughout. Unframed.

Period : 1790-1800.
